We are building a transitional home where residents will receive safe housing, mentorship, life skills training, budgeting assistance, life skill training, job readiness, educational support, counseling, and spiritual encouragement. While our home is under construction, Hills and Valleys Refuge is already serving our community by helping young adults apply for Medicaid and Snap benefits, connect them with essential household items, provide food assistance, offer mentorship, and simply being a listening ear during life's hardest moments. Through Volunteers, churches, and community partners, we are creating a place where every young adult we reach is loved, valued, and reminded they have a purpose and a future.
This Week we had so many volunteers come out to the land to helped with our first workday. It was exciting to watch God work. We will have several more in the future. Don't forget you are someone's answered pray. Thank you for helping close the gap!!
On August 6th we will be joining the Salt group for our first tea party. This is a fun way to come out and support our nonprofit. Here's a registration link to sign up and pay for the fundraiser Tea. The money will go straight to the church. Hope this is helpful!
